did you read stanislaw lem's phantastic stories (dont know if they are called so in english, I only have the german version ...) ? in that book is a great short story about a rocket crash on mars ...

I like the colours and your shading at the buildings.
but if you look at the sky in the left hand side, I think it's a bit too smooth in comparison to the harsh contrast at the mountains ... especially the lower mountains, they are maybe too dark.
also the picture could be a bit more red, but that's maybe a matter of taste ...
